For an additional fee, you can also take advantage of fishing initiation courses, a salmon fishing tour, a whale cruise or a shuttle bus to Les Escoumins village.

We can accommodate snowmobilers during the winter season at Pourvoirie Pelchat. 3 chalets for 4 to 16 people, with all amenities: running water, shower, hot water, functional kitchen, bedding and towels provided.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you need a fishing license?
Yes. As in all parts of Quebec, a valid fishing licence is required to fish at Pourvoirie Chez Pelchat. You must get it before you arrive.
Can we keep our catch?
Yes, you can keep your catch in accordance with quotas. A freezer is available on site to store your fish safely during your stay.
Are animals accepted?
Yes, your four-legged companions are accepted at no extra cost. We know that many families like to travel with their animals, and they are welcome in our cottages as well as in certain activities, as long as their safety is respected.
Are the boats provided?
Yes. A boat with gasoline engine is included with your cottage rental. An electric motor is also available as a supplement if you prefer this type of boat.
Can snowmobile trails be accessed from the outfitter?
Yes. La Pourvoirie Chez Pelchat is linked to the official network of Wood Trails, which gives you access to miles of tracks maintained and marked. You can consult the Interactive trail map to plan your hikes and check the condition of the tracks in real time.
